The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is one of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world, not only because of the judges they usually invite (many of them experts in each of their fields and with decades of experience in the industry), but also because of the number of drinks they evaluate. The SFWSC awards Best in Show, its highest honor, to the best white spirits (including tequila) and also gives Best in Category awards in 79 different spirits classes.
