The tequila master Carlos Camarena selected overripe agaves. This tequila is rested for four months in thoroughly used American whiskey barrels —twice as much the classic Ocho Reposado— and it is bottled at 50.51% ABV (101 proof).
The result: an intense tequila, with notes of fresh agave, spices, dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of white pepper, which maintains the characteristic sweet, floral, and mineral essence of Ocho.
