This ranch is located about 6 km east of Jesús María, Jalisco, near the San Agustín Ex-Hacienda, the place of origin of the Camarena Family, producers of Tequila Ocho.
This harvest yielded approximately 1,350 metric tons of fully mature agave, with the de-stemmed agave heads weighing an average of 42 kg and a very high average sugar content of 31.8%.
On the nose: Green apple, kiwi, tamarind, lime juice, mint, rosemary, and cucumber. Fresh and citrus aromas. A sweet touch of cooked agave at the end.
On the palate: Green chili, white pepper, lemon peel, rosemary, and flowers. Slightly smoky and earthy. A long-lasting finish. Complex and silky at the same time.
